Rovela 0.2.0: Webmail Interface and Cross-Folder Search
Rovela 0.2.0 ships a full webmail client with folder management, cross-folder search, and a three-mode composer — alongside an updated inbound routing and message storage API.

What shipped in 0.2.0
Rovela 0.2.0 turns the platform into a complete email experience. Beyond the send API, you now get a browser-based webmail client and a significantly more capable inbound layer.
Webmail client
The webmail interface runs at your Rovela subdomain and gives teams full access to every mailbox the organization manages. The left sidebar shows your folder tree — Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Trash, and any custom folders — with unread counts updating in real time.
Messages are rendered safely: remote images are blocked by default and only load when you explicitly allow them, eliminating a common tracking vector. HTML mail is sandboxed; plain text is formatted cleanly with quoted reply sections collapsed.
Cross-folder search
Search runs across every folder simultaneously and shows which folder each result came from. Results are ranked by relevance and include a snippet of matching context. The same search API is exposed over HTTP so you can build integrations on top of it.
Three-mode composer
The composer supports three modes in a single interface: new message, reply (with the original threaded below), and forward (with the original attached as a quote). Switching between modes preserves your draft. Rich text and plain text are both supported; the default is plain text to avoid layout surprises.
Bulk actions
Select multiple messages with a checkbox and act on the whole selection: mark read, mark unread, move to folder, or delete. The selection persists across page boundaries within a search session.
Inbound routing
The inbound pipeline now parses and stores attachments separately from message bodies. Attachments are queryable via API and downloadable with a signed URL that expires after one hour. The webhook payload for inbound messages includes attachment metadata so your application can decide whether to download without fetching the whole message.
